"In 2017, my mom, facing anxiety, was advised by her holistic doctor to try CBD before resorting to medications. Within months, her anxiety transformed, a remarkable change witnessed by me as her son. This sparked my interest in learning more about the plant. Despite the criminalization of this plant in North Carolina where I grew up, my perspective shifted. A few years earlier, my grandpa had purchased the land that now houses Haven.

Initially, we planted traditional agriculture crops, but my passion for growing and connecting with nature grew. In a leap of faith, my mom and I decided to venture into the hemp business, an uncharted industry for us. Obtaining a license opened doors, qualifying us for an agritourism permit that laid the foundation for what Haven is today. Each day, we learned more about the plant, and God guided our journey."
